Midterm

My five layers are the batgirl shirt, the batgirl mask, Demi Lovato, the batgirl symbol background, the star custom tool, and the text.

I dodged the background, burned the mask, and smudged the shirt and the mask to fit Demi better.

I resized/free transformed the mask and the shirt. I also did that to the star custom tool and Demi's body. Lastly, I did it to the background to fit the 8x10 in.

The star custom tool is in grayscale.

A silhouette is the image of a person, an object or scene represented as a solid shape of a single color. It came from England and is a french word. Kara Walker's artwork is creative and interesting. It isn't like other artwork, for it is very plain and simple.

Greek Mythology

Venus (Aphrodite) Some say Venus' parents were unknown, and that  she was born of sea foam. Others, like the poet Homer, said she was the daughter of the mighty Jupiter, king of all the gods.       However she was born, Venus was the goddess of love and beauty. She was an essential element of many ancient myths.     Legend says that Venus could be kind or merciless. To be fair to Venus, she was not at all like Mars, the god of war. Mars loved to cause pain and havoc. Venus  only caused havoc accidentally, or if you did something that truly angered her.
